Natalie Bailey joined the Tuscaloosa Angels Board of Directors with a deep passion for supporting children and families experiencing foster care. Her connection to the mission began after meeting a young child in her community who had recently entered foster care. Despite the hardships he had faced at such a young age, his resilient and joyful spirit left a lasting impression on Natalie and inspired her to become more involved in supporting foster families in her community.
Natalie is especially passionate about the Tuscaloosa Angels Dare to Dream Mentorship Program and the powerful impact that encouragement, consistency, and meaningful relationships can have in a child’s life. She believes that the relationships formed through mentorship not only transform the lives of children in foster care, but also profoundly impact the mentors and volunteers who walk alongside them.
A natural encourager and helper, Natalie finds great joy in bringing people together and reminding families that they are not alone. She is a professional hairstylist with nearly two decades of experience and loves building relationships with her clients while helping brighten their day.
Natalie is the proud mother of an amazing and kind-hearted daughter and is engaged to a supportive partner who continually encourages her to step outside of her comfort zone. Together they share a home with three beloved dogs—a chocolate lab and two rescue pups.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys staying active, spending time at the lake, and finding moments of quiet to recharge. She firmly believes that one caring person can make an incredible difference in the life of a child or family experiencing foster care—and that those relationships can be life-changing for everyone involved.
