Kristin is the founder of Tuscaloosa Angels, alongside an incredible founding board that helped bring the vision to life. She moved to Tuscaloosa in 2016 and serves on staff at a local church. Her heart for the foster care community is deeply personal; her parents adopted her oldest brother out of the foster care system, shaping her passion for children and families experiencing foster care.
In 2018, after being introduced to National Angels and spending much time in prayer and conversation, Kristin felt a clear call to bring a chapter to Tuscaloosa. Doors opened, people stepped in, and it became evident that consistent, relational support for foster families was deeply needed in the community.
Over the years, her role has evolved from Founder to President to Board Member. In 2025, she officially joined the staff part-time as Case Manager, the role closest to her heart, walking directly alongside foster families and volunteers.
Kristin is passionate about ensuring foster families feel supported, encouraged, and never alone. She and her husband, Michael, have two little girls who keep them laughing.
